Paris and the Normandy Beaches from Basel

Enjoy the scenery onboard the train from Basel to Paris, where you will be met by a driver and delivered safely to your central hotel for a two-night stay. Once settled head out to enjoy the city - perhaps a stroll along the Champs Elysee then dinner in one of the cosy restaurants dotted around the pretty Montmartre neighbourhood. (Overnight Paris) B

In the morning head over to the Eiffel Tower for a small group trip to the top. Once you have made your way back down hop onto a cruise boat and enjoy the beautiful bridges along the river Seine. At your allotted time slot make your way over to the iconic Louvre Museum to meet the Mona Lisa and many other world-class masterpieces. (Overnight Paris) B

Following breakfast at your hotel make your way to the station for the train ride to Bayeux where you will spend the following two-nights. the towns medieval heart of cobbled streets and half-timber houses is a beautiful place to unwind with numerous traditional cafes and restaurants to enjoy some local delicacies. A Calvados nightcap in this part of the world is a must! (Overnight Bayeux). B

Meet your guide and small group this morning for a day that we're sure will live long in your memory. During the next eight hours, you will visit some of the most hallowed D-Day sites such as Pointe du Hoc, Utah Beach, and Omaha Beach all while being guided by a knowledgeable guide who is on hand to answer any questions.
