Itinerary
Enjoy all the best of two great German cities on this four-night journey. Start in Frankfurt, where you will have two days to tour the city and enjoy all the local sights, modern architecture and the delicious regional cuisine. From Frankfurt, take the quick train ride to Munich and spend two more days soaking up all the sights and the culture of this fascinating city. Finally, take the train to Budapest, an excellent base for your onward travel.

Welcome to Frankfurt! On arrival, check in at your hotel for a 2-night stay. Once settled in, perhaps take a trip to the top of Frankfurt's Main Tower where you can marvel at this city's spectacular skyline, and beyond. (Overnight Frankfurt)

After breakfast this morning, spend the day exploring the wonderful Altstadt district and the gorgeous Romerberg square. Take a stroll over the Eiserner Steg, an iron pedestrian bridge built in 1869 to the laid-back riverside Sachsenhausen district and visit one of the old cider houses. From here you can enjoy some of the small traditional shops and local delicacies on Schweizer Strasse or one of the many fascinating museums. (Overnight Frankfurt) B
