What You Will Need
For your day trip, you should also have an additional voucher to present along with your Swiss Pass, which you will need to exchange for your tickets at the ticket desk prior to the journey. Your Swiss Pass will cover any journeys up to the actual mountain excursion, please reference the suggested timetable on your travel vouchers. Please note that there should be a voucher for each traveler for this excursion, and it is only valid on the date shown on the voucher.
Please ensure that you bring your passport, Swiss Pass, and your Jungfrau voucher, which was sent separately with the rest of your rail tickets. Ensure you keep your ticket throughout the day as you’ll need to show it before each leg of the journey.
The "Top of Europe"
Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe, is one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the Swiss Alps year-round. The journey up and down the mountain is exquisite, and with your Swiss Pass, you can travel at any time that you like. Please keep in mind that it does take about two and a half hours each way, and there are plenty of things to do at the top. You can also hop off at Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald to explore if you want to!
At the Top
At the top, visit the Sphinx observatory overlooking the sea of snow from the Aletsch glacier and stroll through the Ice Palace, Alpine Sensation and Jungfrau Panorama.
