Rome is known as the Eternal City - from the classic Forum and the Colosseum to the Pantheon, Rome's historic architecture will take your breath away on every corner. The independent Vatican City includes fabulous museums, and of course the Sistine Chapel with Michelangelo's frescoes. Don't forget to throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain to ensure your return to Rome!
